Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the program?

The program duration is 6 weeks for morning classes and 6 and ½ weeks for night classes.

What time of day do classes take place?

Morning Classes are Monday to Friday 8 AM -1230 PM (A newmorning class will start on the first Monday of each month) Evening Classes are Monday to Thursday 330 PM - 830 PM (A new evening class will start on the third Monday of each month).

Are there admission requirements?

Successful completion of public, private, or home schooling at the high school level or obtainment of a recognized high school equivalency credential and:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English;  
  • Be in good health and able to bend, twist, lift at least 50 pounds, and be free from communicable disease;
  • Not be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry in revoked status;  
  • Have a current TB test or chest x-ray within the last 12 months showing no active TB or communicable disease processes
  • Have a negative COVID test within 10 days of the first day of class.

Is previous school/experience credit accepted?

Due to the structure of our program, the school will not review any previous education, training or experience submitted for credits. No credit will be granted. Blue Soleil Nursing Assistant Training school does not award credit posted to a third-party institution’s transcript.

Is there a dress code?

Students are expected to wear apparel that would not be disruptive to the classroom atmosphere. Uniforms and scrubs will be worn in class and in the clinical setting.  Wearing the school uniform in public places such as bars is not allowed. The students must follow the school dress code. A copy of this code will be provided to the students upon admission to the school. The school approved scrub color is: Blue sky. The students are required to be well-groomed and practice good hygiene.  The instructor will do regular grooming checks. No acrylic nails are allowed.
